A COOL RIDE to explore the So-Cal Cycle Swap Meet in Long Beach

Date Change to April 27th. (March date fell on Easter Sunday)
Destination: So-Cal Cycle Swap Meet, Veterans Stadium in Long Beach (approx. 405 & Lakewood Blvd, Just east of Long Beach Airport). www.toppingevents.com
Admission: $8.00 per person (Don?t forget to bring money for "Must Haves" at the Swap Meet!)
Followed by lunch at Dale's Diner 4339 E. Carson St., Long Beach www.dalesdiner.com
Route:
We will meet at the Coffee Bean on Alton near Jeffrey in Irvine (see exact address, etc. below) at 8:00AM. We'll have some coffee and pastries and chat a bit before the ride. We will leave the Bean at 8:30AM Sharp!
Leaving from there, we will take the following route:
>>Laguna Canyon to PCH
>>PCH through Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, and Seal Beach, staying on Highway 1 to Lakewood Blvd. (Hwy 19)
>>North on Lakewood Blvd to Conant Street. Turn east on Conant and Swap Meet is on left.
After a couple of hours at the swap meet, we will continue:
>> North on Lakewood Blvd. to Carson Street.
>>West on Carson to Dale's Diner.
Lunch at Dales Diner. Exact time for lunch will be determined upon arrival at swap meet.
We'll return on the 405 Freeway South back to Irvine.
Difficulty Level:
This will be an EASY ride. This ride includes both surface streets and freeways.
The pace of this ride will be very casual and you should be prepared to encounter a few red lights along the way. Traffic should not be too bad in the morning!
