 roup\n\nI'm planning out a ride to Big Oaks Lodge\, in Boquet Canyon\, this
  Sunday\, August 31.  Temecula Motorcycle Meetup Group members are welcome 
 to join.\n\nBig Oaks Lodge is this old lodge that dates back to the 1920s\,
  located about 30 minutes north of Santa Clarita\, along Boquet Canyon Rd. 
  It's an italian restaurant during the week\, and a burger joint during the
  weekends.  The road itself is a really popular road for motorcycles with i
 ts 25-35mph sweepers\, and runs through a grove of oak trees.\n\nThe route 
 starts out at Yellow Basket in Menifee\, and takes the freeway up to Cajon 
 Junction along the I-15.  Then head into Wrightwood\, and along Big Pines H
 wy\, another great twisty and scenic road.  We'll cut through Palmdale\, an
 d out along Elizabeth Lake Rd\, on our way to Boquet Canyon Rd.\n\nAfter lu
 nch\, continue down Boquet Canyon Rd\, and go through Santa Clarita\, and o
 ver to Little Tujunga Canyon Rd\, another really twisty and scenic road\, w
 hich features a shady viewpoint with picnic benches overlooking the valley.
 \n\nEventually\, we'll hook up with the I-210 freeway and take it home.  We
  can either stop at The Yardhouse in Ontario\, or at Tom's Farms\, on the w
 ay back.\n\nThe total route is about 250 miles\, from staging back to stagi
 ng.\n\nStaging is at Yellow Basket in Menifee\, 9:30am.  Kickstands up 10:0
