Rolling Thunder 2008

Is anyone doing the Ride this years if so let me know I have participated in the ride the last 3 years and plan on doing it again - anyone interested?

I'm considering going to one day of Rolling Thunder. I live in North Potomac (aka western Gaithersburg). Which day are you thinking of going? I have a son currently serving his second tour in Iraq, so it's particularly important to me. Incidentally, I was born in the South Bronx, although we migrated to New Jersey when I was only a year old.

Police Escorted Ride leaves at 8:30 SHARP
Breakfast Buffet available at nominal cost.

Funny. When I left the Bronx, I moved to Newark, where I lived for nearly nine years. I'll let you know about Rolling Thunder as we get a bit closer to the date. Looking forward to meeting you. One thing though--I'm not a Bronx Bomber. Anything remotely hinting of the Yankees makes me ill. I'm a Mets fan through and through. When we meet, check out the decal on my tank bag.

I won't be doing Rolling Thunder this year after all. Going to Cunningham Falls on Saturday, 5/24 with the group and then visiting family on 5/25. Will catch up with you on one of the regular weekend rides. Thanks.
