FREEDOM RIDERS MAY MEETUP: HEADING TO LAKE RAY ROBERTS

Route for Freedom Rider’s ride 5/17/2009

1. Leave Billy Bob’s at 10am and head north on Main Street until we reach Meacham Field Airport
2. Turn right on Terminal Road then north on FM 156/Blue Mound road
3. Continue north on FM 156 until we reach Ponder.
4. Depending on the time, we may eat at the Ponder Steak House
5. Continue north on FM 156 and turn right on Jim Christal Rd. There will be two one-lane bridges. If the first bridge is flooded with water, we will continue north on FM 156
6. Continue on either route until it intersects I-35 and turn north
7. Continue north until we reach Sanger, take the 2nd exit for FM 455
8, Turn right on FM 455 (we'll cross the dam on Lake Ray Roberts...it's awesome!!) Continue on FM 455 until it reaches Hwy 377 then head south
9. Follow Hwy 377 South until we reach Ft. Worth. End of ride
