Please join the Police Officer Assistance Trust (POAT) on Sunday, May 3, 2009, for the 14th Semiannual Cops Ride for Kids. All proceeds from the ride will benefit the POAT Holiday Gifts for Surviving Children.

Since 1990, POAT has provided holiday gifts to each of the minor children of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty or on active duty while serving the citizens of Miami-Dade County. This ride will begin at the Miami-Dade County Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, located at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40 Street, Miami, Florida. Please join us and view this tremendous tribute to all the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their community.

Whether you ride a motorcycle or just want to help with a small donation, we hope that you will join us in making the holidays a little brighter for these deserving children. Please post the attached poster and registration form to let everyone know about this worthwhile fundraiser.

2009 Founders Day and Annual Summit Meeting
Dr. Andy McQuitty

This year Fellowship Riders will be honored and privileged to hear Dr. Andy McQuitty speak at the annual Summit meeting on April 18th in Lewisville, TX.
For the last 5 years I have been a member of Iriving Bible Church and can't tell you how many times I have been blessed with one of Andy's messages.
He is a graduate of Wheaton College, Wheaton IL and of Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX. Andy earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1997, receiving the C. Summer Wemp Award in personal evangelism as well as the John G. Mitchell Award for outstanding scholarship and effectiveness in ministry.
The one thing that stands out for me and many others who will get the chance to hear him speak is one small area we all hold dear to our hearts; Andy rides motorcycles and has for several years. Please join us this year for a great meeting and annual ride event that will hopefully bless your socks off!

Just to be sure you know WHERE AND WHEN!
Saturday, April 18, 2009, 8:00 am, Hilton Garden Inn, (785 SH 121 Bypass, Lewisville, TX). All Leadership and Fellowship Riders members are invited to attend. The meeting will start at 8:00 a.m. at The Hilton Garden Inn in Lewisville, TX. Breakfast will be served between 6:45 am - 7:45 am. We have an awesome meeting planned which will include lunch for everyone. We also have a spectacular ride planned this year. Just after the meeting we will take a ride which will end at Hidden Valley Thoroughbred Ranch, Pilot Point TX, where we will have a mexican buffet lunch, bike show and raffle. See Hilton Garden Inn information below. Please RSVP to Stacey at staceyh@fellowshipriders.org. If you have any questions don’t hesitate in giving me or Stacey Holt (214.789.2828) a call. We will see you there!
