This is a Class 2 ride - Just short of 200 miles and WILL TAKE TURNPIKE - HAVE A SUNPASS!!!!
We'll meet at Starbucks on the North side of Wellington Green Mall (a usual spot) at 7am. Have coffee and whatever. We'll have a pre-ride meeting at 7:20 to go over the ride details and kicks up at 7:30am. From Starbuck?s, we?ll head out on Forest Hill and south on 441 to Boynton Beach Blvd (9.2 miles) and go east to the Turnpike Entrance (2 miles). We?ll take the Turnpike south (15.4 miles) to the Sawgrass Expressway and take it west, then south (22 miles) to I-75 west, and take 75 west (31.3 miles) to the infamous Snake Road. Here, we?ll stop for gas, a drink, maybe gator watching. We should arrive here by 9am. This would be a great meeting point for those 360 Bikers who live in Broward/Dade and would like to join us.
We?ll leave the gas station about 9:20 ? 9:30 and head north on Snake Road. This windy road will take us through some Everglades, the Big Cypress Indian Reservation, and eventually (27.2 miles) we?ll head west then north on CR833 (26.3 miles) and will dump us onto SR80 3 miles west of the SR80/US27 intersection. We?ll stay on SR80 through Clewiston (13.2 miles) and go to Roland & Martins Tiki Hut for lunch. We should get here by 11:30. Its right on the water and they have the BEST nachos you?ll ever get (my opinion). After lunch, we?ll gas up (I know, you Harley guys can get 66249876 miles to a tank, but I can?t) and take SR80 back into Wellington (49.7 miles) by 2pm. From SR80, you can peel off where need be to go home. Both I-95 and the Turnpike are accessible from SR80/Southern Blvd.
I hope to see you all there!!!

80.6 miles/90 minutes to 1st gas stop
67 miles/1hr 45min to lunch/2nd gas stop
50 miles/56 min back to Wellington.

First, a special thanks to Trudy for taking photos. Trudy did great on her first try with a DSLR. Second, the photos I uploaded are optimized for this site. If you want any for yourself (for print or whatever) get the highest res version from my flickr.com site (www.flickr.com/photos/360bikers). They will be up there later tonight.

Mark, the fires will depend on the wind direction. They are NW of where we'll be. Was just out there Saturday and no problem. What other choice do I have about the big #???
