Please read this entire message before you post a ride.
This message board is for ride posting only. All communications other than ride postings will be deleted. Discussions about rides and RSVPs should go through the calendar once the ride is formally posted there. You don't have to be a great rider to organize a meet up for riding! If you're posting a beginner ride, all you really need to do is set the time and place. You don't even need to know the riding area that well, as long as everyone riding keeps track of where you're going, and you turn around if the terrain gets too intimidating. Riding areas like Little Gem and Hemingway Butte are great for beginner rides because there is lots of open space and you don't even have to ride that far away from the parking area to have some fun! Get Notified About New Rides Faster! If you would like to be notified by email whenever a new ride is submitted for posting, then Track This Discussion. You'll receive a notice as soon as the ride details are submitted, even though it may take a day or two to finally hit the calendar. How to Post a Ride To post an NOVICE AND/OR ALL SKILLS RIDE to the calendar, then do so as a reply to this message and please include all of the below information. Incomplete postings will be deleted.
Please use one of these categories to identify the minimum skill level for the ride. ![]() Edited by Brent Thomas on Apr 2, 2009 4:58 PM |

Hemingway Sat. 3/7 @11:00am
Look for Katherine's White F150, CRF250X, and I will put in the front window of the truck a paper with FTF logo on it so you can know it is the group. This ride is for those who want to go a little slower on the four wheeler trails. Dawn wanted to get together and ride so I thought I would see if others wanted to join us on a fun, relaxed day of riding. |

Bruneau Dunes parking lot to Jarbidge, Nevada on the Idaho Centennial Trail! It's about 100 miles one way but may be more one way depending on if we take any excursions.
Monday, April 6. We're meeting at the parking lot at 8:30 am then driving together to where the pavement ends and hopefully on the move my 9 am. This is most likey an all day event with lunch and gas in Jarbidge. Look for the white Frontier with the little green trailer. This is not a difficult ride and all skill levels are welcome but since we're going to be moving quickly I'd suggest at least a bike geared for the desert (~50 mph cruise for two to three hours) and a big tank or the ability to carry extra gas. Dual sport bikes with street-oriented enduro tires aren't recommended because of the potential for mud/slop/snow. Pack lots of water, some snacks, and I'm going to pack some lightweight shoes and a camera. So far at least four riders are going and there is no limit to how many can attend. RSVP ASAP so I can help put together a ride share plan. Call me at 585-1234 or pm me through this website. Steve Kaminsky Edited by Stephen Kaminsky on Apr 2, 2009 6:51 PM |

TVTMA Chicks Beginner Ride
Date : 4/11/2009 Time: 11:00am Place: Hemmingway Butte at the first parking area. The TVTMA club has invited the gals of FTF to join them on a beginners chick ride. They will not ask you to join the club for this ride or ask for money to go on it. But would like any gals interested in an easy ride to come out. I will be there so watch for my white F150, CRF250X, and I will try to remember to put the FTF logo in my front window. Contact me through my email. TVTMA's posting:http: www.tvtma.com This is a beginner ride with no technical and no hill climbs. We make this for beginners so that no one has to worry about getting hurt. We will try and do a 15 to 20 mile loop. There will be refreshments available after the ride. Everyone is welcome on this ride so please invite a guest if you have someone in mind that would like to join us. This is a beginner ride with no technical and no hill climbs.
