McKensee
So sorry to hear about your crash but glad you will be ok. You got to get better so that we can go on another gal ride, the last ones were so much fun. Take care of yourself and I will keep you in my prayers. An up date on Will Bosserman- He has had a couple surgeries and has limited use of his hands and may have some reaction to touch in the feet. So thank you for all the prayers and please continue to keep him in your prayers. |

My wifes sister Karri was diagnosed with brain cancer earlier this week. She is only 29 years old. She had her first surgery tuesday and they removed a plum size tumor from her left front lobe. We found out yesterday it is a grade 3 out of 4 tumor, which is bad. She went back into surgery earlier tonight to remove the entire lobe, so hopefully they could contain it. Surgery went well but only time will tell how much she will be affected mentally. She now has to go through chemo and radiation. They gave her a life expectancy of 4-6 years assuming it will at some point come back. Two weeks ago she was just like you and me not having a clue what was coming. We would greatly appreciate prayers that the cancer never comes back and she can live a normal life. Praise God she is a believer!

Just when you think your life can not get any better you are shown how truly fortunate we are. My family and I are going through financial turmoil at this time of year but we have our health. I am truly sorry for what you and your family is going through. It is a grand thing knowing that she is a believer, their is blessings in everything we just have to look. Your family is in our prayers, he never gives us more then we can handle.
Blessed is he who knows the LORD. Lee |

I hope Kerri is doing well since we talked last Chris.
Separately, I had my hernias repaired yesterday and I think the surgery went well. My legs and certain other body parts already feel better. Hopefully my recovery is smooth and without infection or any other complication. McKensee is having a rough go. We're seeing the orthopedist again today. Her X-rays came in from the Lancaster ER and apparently she broke the collar bone on both ends which means a slow healing process, so our local doc wants to talk about surgery. The surgery would make her recovery faster, will be very expensive. That's a tough decision for us, because we were looking forward to skiing, and we were even talking about dirt biking this winter after my gut is healed. Keep us in your prayers please. Thanks! Hey guys, just wanted to ask for some prayer...
I got laid off from work today. It was kind of a weird situation, but somehow thru all of it I really am excited to see what God has in store. I started looking for work, and it is amazing how little there is right now. My wife and I closed on our house on Monday, so honestly the timing couldn't have been better. We have been working to get this house for over a year and if this would have happened a week ago it would have not gone thru. We currently have a 6 month old and another on the way. Prayer for guidance thru this interesting time would be great. Thanks everyone, hopefully I'll be able to make it out soon (little stress relief) Godspeed, -Jordan (cali) |

Rick Golenor asked me to add his daughter to the prayer chain. Apparently she is very sick and has been for a while. Please pray for her and the Golenor family!

Update about Holly Golenor:
According to Rick and Kendra, their daughter Holly has suffered damage to her heart valve as the result of rheumatic fever. The doctors are performing various test to determine if heart surgery is required, and if so when. And currently they are determining whether to fly her to Salt Lake City. Please keep Holly, the Golenor Family, and all of their physicians in your prayers! |

Tracy Johnston's Fall
Yesterday (2/28/09) a group of us went riding at Rabbit Creek. About 15-20 miles in, at the intersection of H210 and H200, Tracy caught a rock, fell, and apparently broke her arm. Although somewhat chaotic, the rescue effort was a success and our riders were all very helpful in stabilizing Tracy and making her comfortable. In fact, a guy on a four-wheeler showed up and he knew the smoothest way to keep Tracy comfortable while he hauled her out to the highway. As of this morning, (3/1/09) Jerald and Tracy were still at the hospital, and confirmed that not only was her arm broken, but so was her ankle. What a tough gal! On the trail she said her ankle was sore, but that was it. The surgeon said the ankle required surgery to ensure it would heal properly, and the arm would need surgery because she couldn't use crutches that will be required for the ankle. We understand the surgery is today, so of course keep Tracy, Jerald and their entire family in your prayers! |

Greetings everyone!
Thanks be to God that our little girl is doing well. She had open heart surgery on Saturday the 14th at Primary Childrens Medical Center in Salt Lake. They repaired her mitral and tricuspid valves, decreased the size of one of her atriums and drained her lungs and abdomen of fluid. We are home now and she is gaining weight and strength day by day. She is still taking a lot of medications to regulate blood pressure, heart rate, inflammation and pain but we are thankful to be home and glad to have the surgery in our past. Thank you for your prayers and concern. Rick Edited by Rick Golenor on Mar 31, 2009 8:39 AM |
