Hi, my name is Steve Silva, and I am really excited to find a group of believers who are into getting out and riding with a positive and spiritual energy. I know it will be a great benefit to me.
Our family has been going to Fairview Church of the Nazarene for about 20 years, but we have recently switched to Deer Flat as its so much closer to our home.
I'm riding/racing an 06 KX 450F, and have a 98 DR 350 that has a few mods on it to make it a more long distance/enduro dual sport style of bike that I am able to tour and camp off of. Always looking for someone to suggest a long mile remote trip!
I'm 49, and have really only been riding steady over the past 3 or 4 seasons. I have covered a lot of miles and quite a few races! I would consider myself an advanced rider now. I really enjoy the desert races, but also love the mountain trails.
I consider myself an old man! I'm a Senior B rider, moving into the Masters this next year. I love the desert, Idaho City, and new mountain trails we have ben exploring.
"This last year I published a guide book for motorcycle riding in the Owyhee Desert. I'm always looking to explore very remote spots out there! I'm working on another guide, and am always hoping for someone to ride along as I check out spots!"

"Here's an unabashed plug for myself! Hey everyone, just a reminder for all those girlfriends, wives, parents, grandparents, and riding buddies.... A GREAT Christmas gift would be a trail guide book to the Owyhee Desert!..."
"Well, what a GREAT race we had in the desert! A large group of riders; I think someone said 168 entries, perfect weather, a really cool and not that dusty course, and of course, fun trinkets for finishing!..."
"Just another reminder that on Sunday, Nov 8 the final SIDRA race of the season will be run...."
Intermediate/Advanced Ride Posting
"The last race of the SIDRA season is scheduled for Nov 8 at Hemmingway Butte. This is the Bar to Bar race, and is typically a favorite of the local riders. The format is different than usual for the desert races. The race is NOT a mass start...."
